Our goal is to help you become a strong nonprofit and compliant with all laws. We will help you navigate the complex landscape of nonprofit funding. WHAT WE COVER TOGETHER 1. Programs, Outcomes & Measurement We make sure you can clearly explain what your programs are, who they serve, how participants enter and move through the program, what services you provide, what outcomes you are working toward, how you measure them, and what data you collect to demonstrate your impact. 2. Governance We look at whether your basic governance foundation is in place: bylaws, conflict-of-interest policies, board structure, board roles and responsibilities, meeting minutes, organizational policies, and general nonprofit compliance. 3. Funding Toolkit, Grant Writing & Grant Research Get the tools you need before you chase funding: your organizational overview, program descriptions, statement of need, outcomes, program and organizational budgets, leadership and board information, impact information, and common grant attachments. You will also learn how to research grants, decide whether an opportunity is a good fit, read grant guidelines, prepare stronger applications, connect your program, outcomes, and budget, and begin building a grant pipeline. We also walk you through government contracts, grant reporting, and navigating SAM.gov for federal funding opportunities. 4. Diversifying Your Funding Grants should not be your only funding strategy. We explore foundation funding, government contracts, corporate funding, individual donors, sponsorships, partnerships, earned income, social enterprise, and fee-for-service opportunities to build a more sustainable funding base. 5. Data, Intake & CRM Systems We review how you collect and manage information about the people you serve, including intake, referrals, attendance, services, case management, outcomes, follow-up, reporting, and contact management. Where needed, we help you choose a CRM or data system that fits your organization and supports privacy and compliance requirements. 6. Integrating AI Into Your Nonprofit Learn how AI can responsibly support grant research and preparation, program development, administrative work, communications, planning, and policies and procedures, saving you time while you keep using your own judgment and knowledge of your community. We also provide guidance on human resources, staffing, volunteer recruitment, and risk and compliance management. While direct grant writing isn't included, I will help you identify potential grants and review your grant drafts to improve your chances of success.
